About our newsletters Print

We expect to issue every week a newsletter commenting on current events and new developments, including any significant changes or additions to the site since the previous newsletter, as well as a second newsletter containg a more detailed commentary written by our site on a topical matter related to investing . If you have suggestions for possible topics, please feel free to send them to me. One topic that interests us is how the financial and regulatory system is not very responsive to the needs of self-directed investors. When you see such circumstances, contact us.

As a registered member, you will receive these newsletters alerting you to new developments affecting do-it- yourself investors and advising you when new commentaries become available to our members on our website (you can un-subscribe at any time by following the instructions at the end of each e-mail). If you have comments on the form, frequency or content of our newsletters, do not hesitate to contact us. Other commentaries will be added directly to the site during the week and we encourage you to check the site regularly, either directly or by adding our site to your RSS. If you are not familiar with RSS’s (the one I personally use is Google Reader), read the description doc.922 in Wikipedia.

Please note: some members have brought to our attention that when they receive our emails at work that their employer's corporate network strips out all links in the email. If for this or any similar reason the links in our emails do not function, go directly to our site www.independentinvestor.info (which we encourage you to bookmark) and you can access the content of our latest emails directly on our homepage.

A large number of site members and visitors is very important for the survival and growth of our site. Your help is greatly appreciated. Tell your friends about our site. If you like the contents of one of our newsletters send it to them.
